Job summary

Bluewater Builders in Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in all administrative and technical aspects of assigned projects, including contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.

You will help manage budgets, update the project schedule, maintain client relationships, and coordinate with architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver quality, profitable, safe, and timely results.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of estimating, purchasing, scheduling, and planning concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assists in contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.
• Maintain bi-weekly status reports to the Project Executive.
• Lead and communicate with team members, subcontractors and vendors to maintain the project schedule.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
• Coordinate all contractual requirements, design drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure project site and company assets are secure and safe.
