Job summary

BL Harbert International in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, management and financial outcomes of construction projects. You will coordinate contracts, design drawings and specifications to meet owner expectations.

Requirements include 2–3 years in construction management and a Bachelor’s degree in CM or engineering, with relocation openness and strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or comparable field.
• Experience at Assistant Project Manager level or above with budgets and design/build activities.

Responsibilities

• Distribute, track and maintain plans and specs.
• Maintain and update the Submittal Register.
• Organize and check subcontractor Pay Apps for content and accuracy.
• Generate weekly subcontractor coordination meeting minutes.
• Coordinate subcontractor and BLHI material deliveries.
• Generate subcontractor and supplier change orders and update quantity reports weekly.
• Provide health, dental, life, AD&D, LTD benefits information to team.
• Provide 401k and monthly living allowance details as applicable.
