Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction delivery in Southern California. You’ll work with experienced teams on ground-up and tenant improvements, gaining exposure to preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, and client relations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in CM/CE/Architecture or related field and 1–5+ years of experience, with proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 1-5+ years of experience in commercial construction as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Field Engineer, or similar role.
• Understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and contract administration.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to grow into a Project Manager-level position.
