We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our construction project management team. The APM will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the construction project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Help prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support in procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend site meetings, document observations, and assist in resolving field issues.
  • Track and help manage project costs, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control efforts on-site.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and cost tracking.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to visit construction sites regularly.
  • May require occasional lifting, standing, walking on uneven surfaces, and exposure to outdoor conditions.
