Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

This Miami based construction company is a leading General Contractor in the South Florida market with many excellent clients and a steady pipeline of commercial projects. Their pipeline includes high end retail, offices, restaurants, etc. This company is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to its rapidly growing team.

Description

  • Provide project management assistance through completion of projects on time and under budget.
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
  • Help create, review, negotiate, and works with the project team to process the meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and requests for information
  • Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the details of the project
  • Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions

Profile

  • 3+ year of construction experience in commercial sector
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field recommended
  • Team player with a positive and driven attitude
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Desire to further career as a Project Manager
  • OSHA certified
