Job summary

Lochridge-Priest Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager/Assistant PM to oversee and deliver heavy commercial projects with emphasis on margins, safety, and customer relations.

You will support PMs, coordinate schedules, budgets, and field operations while driving continuous improvement. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, 5 years of experience, and strong Excel/estimating software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience in heavy commercial projects.
• PM certification or active involvement in a professional association is a plus.
• Familiarity with HVAC/plumbing and construction methods is required.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software; strong cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope.
• Plan, schedule, and manage project parameters to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with field leadership for progress, cost tracking and submittals.
• Lead cost tracking and reporting using Excel at a high level.
• Develop and monitor change orders, budgets, and cash flow.
