Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and deliver heavy commercial projects, ensuring margins and customer satisfaction. The role involves working with field teams, preparing schedules, and managing submittals, changes, and risk.

You will coordinate budgets, procurement, and reporting, while fostering relationships with owners and contractors. The firm emphasizes safety, training, and career development in a long-standing Texas family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• PM certification or related association involvement is a plus.
• HVAC and plumbing familiarity and knowledge of construction methods are required.
• Advanced Excel skills and estimating software experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings and codes.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and reports for construction projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Plan and analyze projects, set schedules and procedures to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with field teams on scheduling, material delivery, and submittals.
• Track project costs and reporting using Excel at a high level.
• Develop and transmit project submittal docs and change orders with approvals.
• Review contracts for compliance and change impacts; communicate risks.
• Manage cash flow, billing, collections, and resource management.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide status reports and reviews.
