Job summary

A/Z Corporation is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in the United States. The role supports the Division Operations Manager and senior leadership in project management, strategic planning, and client service across multiple assignments.

The position emphasizes coordination, documentation, and proactive client interface, with opportunities to contribute to preconstruction efforts, safety/compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a tobacco‑free, employee‑owned organization.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple project work streams.
• Strong communication with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager on various project assignments as assigned by the Operations Manager or Director in charge.
• Assist in business development including preconstruction, project delivery approaches, client interaction, and presentation assistance.
• Adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Best‑Practices in project activities.
• Provide proactive and positive client interface throughout service delivery.
• Quality control accountability to ensure field compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• Provide necessary project information to complete schedules in an organized manner.
• Maintain corporate standards with Project Control and risk management requirements.
• Assist with project finance management for commitments, changes, and claims.
• Assist with coordination and support of project close‑out, startup and training as outlined.
• Initiate continuous improvement objectives and embrace technology enhancements.
• Promote open communication among project teams, inspectors, agencies, and subcontractors.
• Participate in lessons learned sessions and training to support continuous improvement.
• Commit to ongoing education (e.g., LEED, OSHA) as recommended by the Company.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
