Job summary

Southern Contracting, LLC is looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager in Biloxi, MS, to support heavy civil construction projects. This full-time role offers a salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000, plus performance bonuses. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 1+ years in construction, but entry-level candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship (required) to meet federal project requirements.
• 1+ years of experience in heavy civil construction preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged.
• Ability to pass State & Federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project plans and specifications.
• Assist with reviewing and managing project submittals.
• Generate purchase orders and track material deliveries.
• Support project scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
• Prepare daily field reports for project leadership.
