Job Requirements

Summary Description

Assists with the overall administration, organization, and implementation of building automation, security, and integration projects of various sizes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with employment policies, standards of conduct, and appearance.
  • Maintains knowledge of building automation systems, installation methods (NEC Code), and troubleshooting skills.
  • Reads and understands proposals, estimates, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements and maximize revenue.
  • Assists in developing project plans and schedules to meet turnaround times and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts project kickoff meetings to clarify scope and responsibilities.
  • Manages project resources, including subcontractors, to meet performance goals and budgets.
  • Pursues estimates and submits change orders and delay claims as appropriate.
  • Assists in selecting and managing subcontractors.
  • Ensures 100% customer satisfaction on all projects.
  • Attends job meetings for coordination.
  • Updates manpower and revenue forecasts regularly.
  • Manages project finances, including invoicing and collections.
  • Develops positive relationships with subcontractors and clients.
  • Ensures timely completion of punch lists and final documentation.
  • Performs customer and employee training as needed.
  • Performs job estimates and takeoffs as required.
Skills/Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in BAS project supervision.
  • Ability to direct subcontractors effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic drafting software.
  • Basic programming knowledge of building automation systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 40 hours/week.
  • Ability to sit, lift weights, and perform site surveys.
  • Environmental and safety considerations apply.
