Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project managers across multiple construction initiatives in Wisconsin. You will help develop systems, track costs, and manage documents to keep projects on schedule and budget.

The role requires at least 2 years of construction coordination experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration, and strong organizational skills. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience on construction projects in a coordinator, project engineer, or project management role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in developing common systems and processes.
  • Assist with reporting project costs, customer billing, scheduling, material procurement, subcontractors, and record keeping.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and estimates.
  • Set up job structure including safety, scheduling, document control, cost codes, material/tooling plan, equipment, billing, etc.
  • Assist with project handoff from estimating to field supervision.
  • Assist with purchasing on material orders and required submittals.
  • Travel to project sites on a regular basis.
  • Provide weekly updates on project progress reporting.
  • Assist with change orders from drawing changes and RFIs.
  • Assist with scheduling resources and maintaining the schedule, budget, and safety standards.
  • Interact with customers to foster a long-term positive relationship.
  • Assist to ensure timely billing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with the development of common systems and processes.

  • Assist the Project Manager with the quotation of change orders from drawing changes, RFI's, etc.
  • Assist the Project Manager with customer and field management on schedule development and assist in maintaining the schedule during the course of the project.
  • Assist the Project Manager to ensure the project has adequate resources to maintain schedule, budget and exceed safety expectations.
  • Interact with the customer on project with positive long-term relationship in mind.
  • Assist the Project Manager to ensure billing is timely submitted, and
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Graduate Microsoft office, Project Coordination, Logistics Good organization skills, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task is important since this individual will be juggling multiple projects at once -Microsoft office, excel, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, Construction Management, or Business administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on construction projects in a project coordinator, project engineer, or project management position.
