Job summary

AECOM Hunt in Tampa, FL seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join our dedicated team. You will support the Project Management group on moderate-size projects, coordinate with Superintendents, monitor change orders, and help ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Engineering or Construction Management with relevant experience, and familiarity with Procore/Bluebeam and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management or relevant curriculum with 2 years of experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with construction management processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.
• Organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training.
• Interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
• Assists with and monitors change orders and other construction documentation.
• Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
• Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.
• May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be based in Tampa, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management or relevant curriculum + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from a larger GC is preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• OSHA 10, 30.
• The ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with building envelope trades and other relevant subcontractors.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or other relevant construction management software.
• Exposure to project scheduling.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $32.08 to $59.34.
