We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our Specialty Construction team. If you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and ready to grow in the construction industry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of high-impact projects that shape the digital landscape.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support our Project Managers and Senior PMs through the entire project lifecycle—from estimating and planning through execution and closeout. You'll gain hands-on experience in both the office and the field, helping ensure successful project delivery across data center and mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Managers to track deliverables, timelines, and budgets
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, contracts, and purchase orders
• Assist with project scheduling and coordination of long-lead materials
• Visit job sites to monitor progress and support field teams
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
• Help maintain site safety, documentation, and compliance
• Participate in occasional field supervision and job site coverage

What You Bring

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in project management or construction
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (~20%)

Preferred:

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Applied Science
• Experience in commercial or data center construction
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Interest in secure facility or data center operations
• Knowledge of permitting, RFI/submittal processes, and construction drawings

Compu Dynamics Pay Range: $65,000—$85,000 USD

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company match up to 4%, voluntary benefits, employer-paid life insurance, 7 holidays, paid parental leave, volunteer time off, up to 4 weeks PTO after 60 days, and your birthday off!
