Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our on-site team in Aurora, CO. You will support the project management group, collaborate with Project Managers, and help ensure successful electrical construction projects from planning through closeout.

The role emphasizes scheduling, change management, budgeting, and coordination with field teams. Travel up to 75% is possible, with a strong focus on safety and the Loenbro core values.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years as an Assistant PM or Project Engineer in electrical or mechanical construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with project management software (e.g. Microsoft 365, Accubid, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Support senior project management to maintain schedules.
• Develop techniques to meet schedule requirements.
• Track change orders and liaise between field and owner on scope changes.
• Provide oversight of third‑tier subcontractors.
• Assist in creating and enforcing the project budget.
• Assist in creating and submitting the schedule of values.
• Oversee engineers in RFIs, submittals, take-offs and material tracking.
• Oversee the closeout process and submission to the owner.
• Support QA/QC throughout construction and commissioning.

Job Summary

Loenbro is currently looking for an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join the team. As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager at Loenbro, you will be an essential part of our project management team, supporting the successful execution of the projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the overall project success.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Close support of senior project management team
• Develop project management techniques to ensure schedule requirements are met
• Initiate and track change orders using a log. act as a liaison between the field management team and owner in all scope changes.
• Provide close support and oversite of third-tier subcontractors
• Assist In creating and enforcing the project budget
• Assist In creating and submitting the schedule of values
• Oversee project engineers in the processing of request for Information, submittals quantity take-off and material tracking.
• Oversee the project closeout process to ensure all documentation is submitted to the owner
• Close support of the quality control team throughout construction and commissioning.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer role supporting electrical or mechanical construction jobs
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
• Proficiency In project management software (e.g. Microsoft 365, Accubid, and Bluebeam)
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM
• Knowledge of electrical systems and Industry standards Is advantageous.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or other related fields.
• Data center specific experience highly preferred.

Work Environment:

• Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.

• Travel requirements: up to 75% of time.
