Job summary

Loenbro in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager (Electrical) to support our Industrial Construction teams on project sites. You will help ensure projects run smoothly and address issues quickly, reporting to the Project Manager.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering or construction management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work in both field and office environments within a fast-paced setting. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced APM who will work with our Industrial Construction teams on project sites. This position is responsible for ensuring that the project(s) runs smoothly and if any issues occur, they are corrected immediately. This position will report to the Project Manager.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Maintain a daily project diary and help establish project priorities.
Daily timecard entry and approval.
Track and record project costs, production quantities, yield statistics, and onsite inventory counts.
Compile cycle times and production information and log this information for historical data.
Gather pay item quantities and collect information on extra work items.
Conduct timely billing and reporting to maximize profit margins and positive cash flow.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management degree.
Strong computer skills required with a special emphasis on Excel skills.
Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communication skills.
Willingness to work both in field and office settings and an ability to work in a high production, fast moving environment.

Preferred

Candidates who possess experience with Industrial experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil.
A valid driver license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Must be a team player.

Work Environment:

Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.

Essential Requirements:

Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day
Standing
Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
Use of respirator if position requires.
Driving if required to travel.
