Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Management Team and oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation. This role emphasizes safety, ethics, and compliance with laws while delivering cost-effective outcomes on diverse projects.

The candidate will support scheduling, coordination, and execution across project phases, contributing to a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years prior relevant experience.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

The Assistant Project Manager works within the Project Management Team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project, to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project. Ensure the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The Project Management Team can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the projects, which in turn will affect the number of responsibilities the Assistant Project Manager will be involved in.

Assistant Project Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction or Engineeringor equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years prior relevant experience.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
