Job summary

LeoForce in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to lead delivery of large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects. You will support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on complex assignments, coordinating with owners, engineers, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes design-build and delivery coordination, managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on DOT, transportation, utilities, water, mining, or site development projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and field operations.
• Experience with design-build projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on heavy civil projects.

• Track quantities, production, and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules.

This is not a small-project environment- you'll be involved in high-impact infrastructure work that requires coordination, planning, and execution at scale. Advancement is based on performance and contribution, not tenure.

You'll gain exposure to a wide range of projects, including:

• DOT highway and bridge construction
• Design-build and progressive design-build delivery
• Industrial, mining, and energy infrastructure
• Large-scale civil site development

Work alongside teams that self-perform critical scopes, providing deeper exposure to:
