Knutson Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction projects. You will work with project managers and field teams to coordinate planning, budgeting, scheduling, safety, quality, and client relations while gaining experience toward becoming a Project Manager.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cost tracking, bid package development, scheduling, contract review, risk management, and coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Associate degree in a construction field with 7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction PM processes and documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams and estimators to understand scope and develop bid packages.
• Support scheduling, logistics planning, and RFP responses.
• Review contracts, specifications, and construction documents.

About the Role

Working closely with project managers and field teams, you’ll help coordinate project planning, budgeting, scheduling, safety, quality control, and client relationships while gaining experience toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications
