Evolve Back Resorts is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for civil construction at Mandu, India. The role requires 16–20 years of construction/civil engineering experience and a strong ability to manage complex site operations.

You will plan schedules, allocate resources, and monitor budgets while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all site activities. Travel to various site locations will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (full-time).
  • Minimum 16–20 years of construction/civil engineering experience.
  • Proven willingness and ability to learn and grow in a young organization.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to site locations.
  • Proficient with CAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain detailed project schedules to meet milestones.
  • Allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) for productivity.
  • Monitor project costs to stay within budget (from QS).
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Drive project ownership to completion per schedule and quality.
  • Monitor stores, purchasing, and site accounts departments.
  • Oversee site administration and overall site management.
  • Ensure standards compliance, inspections, and testing.
  • Supervise daily site operations and enforce safety protocols.
  • Maintain clear communication with management and stakeholders.

About the Role

Location: — Mandu Experience Required: 16–20 years

Roles and responsibilities
Project Management
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to maximize productivity.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget (from QS).
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Singular Ownership: Drive the project to successful completion as per schedule and quality, including planning of resources and cash flows.
  • Monitor – Stores & Purchase, accounts department, all other department on site.
  • Admin - Overall Management of Site including administration of site.
Quality Control
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and oversee testing of materials and workmanship to ensure quality.
  • Deficiency Management: Identify and rectify any deficiencies in the construction process promptly.
Site Operations
  • Site Supervision: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is progressing as planned.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise.
Coordination
  • Management Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with Management regarding project status and issues.
  • Maintain good and cordial relationship with the locals at the site location.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment with all team members, including subcontractors and consultants.
  • Reporting: Send daily/weekly progress reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status and any variations from schedule.
  • Design Liaison: Keep the Design Team updated on all changes in detail and application; ensure site instructions/variations are translated into appropriate documentation (drawings/documents).
  • External Liaison: Liaise with all external agencies at the site.
Documentation and Compliance
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete project documentation during all stages of the project.
  • Permits and Approvals: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and complied with.
  • Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental regulations and manage environmental impact.
  • Billing Verification: Verify all subcontractor bills against work orders before forwarding to the head office (HO) for payment.
  • Asset Custody: Act as custodian for all company assets and equipment rented/hired for the project.
Desired Applicant Profile
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering (full-time only)
  • Minimum 16–20 years of experience in construction/civil engineering
  • Willingness and capacityto learn and grow in a young organization
  • Willingness to travel to site locations on a regular basis
  • Knowledge and practical experience of usingCAD and MS Office
  • Good oral and written English communication skills
  • High energy levels and physical fitness to excel at both indoor and outdoor workplaces
