Job summary

Strocchia Iron Works is seeking a Steel Project Manager for a full-time, on-site role at our Albertson office. You will lead project planning, manage shop drawing processes, submit RFIs, expedite materials, and coordinate installation schedules to ensure timely completion.

The role requires strong project management, logistics, and communication skills, with experience in heavy construction or structural steel preferred.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located at our Albertson office for a Steel Project Manager. The responsibilities include project planning, managing the shop drawing process including submitting necessary RFI's and recommendations to the design team, expediting fabricated materials, coordinating installation schedules, managing project timelines, and overseeing overall project completion. This Steel Project Manager will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that all necessary project requirements are met efficiently and within established budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture is required
• Strong Project Management skills with the ability to support and manage multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with Inspection processes to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
• Knowledge of Logistics Management to coordinate schedules, delivery, and resources efficiently
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Previous experience in heavy construction or structural steel projects is preferred
