Job summary

Walsh Group in Nashville is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join a multi‑billion dollar campus project in downtown. You will support planning, scheduling, safety and quality plans, manage costs, and work with trade partners to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of project management experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong relationship‑building and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to establish internal and external relationships and lead people.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction software (Bluebeam, P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with project planning, scheduling and coordination.
• Safety and Quality plans development and management.
• Accurate forecasting and management of project costs.
• Change order management, including the use of Clearstory.
• Manage critical trade partners to ensure their success.
• Lead, manage and develop the Project Engineers.
• Participate in dispute resolution, material expediting and delivery planning and Subcontract administration.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tool tracking and management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Computer skills are required, including but not limited to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.


• This role is planned to be based in Nashville, Tennessee and is not a project-specific position


• Relocation of superior candidates to Nashville will be considered if currently located outside of the local market
