Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled professional to process and review shop drawings, coordinate with the project scheduling system, and perform detailed drafting on construction projects.

The role requires ownership of communications with owners and engineers, purchasing materials, surveying job sites, and maintaining safety and regulatory standards, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field.
• 4–7 years of construction experience.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Process and review shop drawings.
• Work with the project scheduling system.
• Perform detailed drafting.
• Serve as owner and architect/engineer contact.
• Purchase materials.
• Survey construction job site.
• Update as‑built documents.
• Oversee job site safety.
• Track, audit, and project labor hours.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Complete daily and periodic report updates.
