Responsibilities

  • Lead safety planning and oversee safety submissions and regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a results-driven, hands-on team member to join our construction cleaning/final cleaning division. This is a field-based role — the ideal candidate will lead crews and manage job sites in person, drive operational efficiency, maintain profitability, manage resources, address staffing needs, ensure safety, and foster teamwork and a positive culture within the division. Responsibilities: Field Operations & Crew Management Dispatch crew members daily and manage staffing across multiple active job sites. Manage the execution of work in the field to be the most efficient in the industry — this role is in the field, not behind a desk. Perform job walks with customers and serve as the front-facing point person on site. Make sure crews have the proper equipment, supplies, and safety gear for each job. Help manage quality control in the field and provide proactive leadership to maintain the highest quality standards on every project. Mentor, develop, and manage project teams; train to lead and grow crew leadership. Lead safety planning and efforts, following PCC's safety culture, practices, and procedures; prepare safety submittals and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Ability to travel between job sites; this role requires regular interaction with the field, in the field. Financial & Project Management Prepare and submit accurate, timely progress billings and billing packages each month for projects at various locations. Track and reconcile change order work, including converting time and material tickets into timely, accurate change orders; follow up on outstanding change orders and bill executed change orders. Review vendor and subcontractor invoices weekly for accuracy — pricing, scopes of work, and supplemental documentation. Support the estimating team and project managers by creating schedules of value for new projects, issuing purchase orders to suppliers, and issuing safety certifications and other documents to customers. Train to prepare and review project budgets, evaluating historical production rates against actuals to guide project teams. Handle conditional lien waivers, affidavits, benefit letters, and close-out documents for both project setup and close-out packages. Leadership & Growth Provide a vision and path to achieve long-term goals; set and manage goals and expectations, mentoring others to achieve them. Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and sound judgment in fast-moving field situations. Develop a thorough understanding of our industry and services within three months. Take initiative and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement. Provide help wherever needed — this is a hands-on, all-in role. Qualifications: High school diploma required; minimum of 1 year of construction or related experience is a plus. Strong math and/or financial skills. Proven ability to provide a vision and path to achieve long-term goals. Experience with Monday.com and Knowify is a plus. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Track record of setting and managing goals and expectations. Clean driving record. Ability to lift materials and equipment as needed. Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000

Compensation:
$70,000-$75,000 per year
