You will work closely with operations leadership, assist with project coordination, communicate directly with customers, complete project documentation, support permitting activities, and gain hands-on field experience. This is not a desk-only position; you will regularly work alongside crews, learn construction processes, and develop into a future Project Manager or Estimator.

Responsibilities
  • Support industrial construction projects involving concrete, coatings, fabrication, piping, welding, steel, and mechanical work throughout the Mid-South region.
  • Work directly with operations leadership to assist with day-to-day project coordination and execution.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and field crews to ensure project requirements, schedules, and expectations are clearly understood.
  • Complete project documentation, including reports, logs, and records related to construction activities and progress.
  • Assist with permitting activities and help manage compliance with relevant project and site requirements.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor needs in support of project timelines and budgets.
  • Split time between job sites, customer locations, and office activities to maintain strong oversight of project status.
  • Work alongside crews in a hands-on capacity to learn construction processes and industrial trades from the ground up.
  • Use basic computer tools such as email and spreadsheets to track project information and support project management tasks.
  • Travel within the regional territory, primarily within a three-hour radius of Memphis, to visit job sites and customer locations as needed.
  • Demonstrate a dependable work ethic, coachability, and a strong desire to grow into project management and estimating responsibilities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company at job sites and customer meetings.
  • Follow safety practices and contribute to a safe working environment on all job sites.
Essential Skills
  • Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and crews.
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on construction environment and learn the trade from the ground up.
  • Basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a pickup truck.
  • Dependable work ethic, coachability, and a desire to grow into project management and estimating responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in industrial environments.
  • Ability to take direction and learn new skills.
  • Ability to travel within a regional territory as needed.
  • Construction experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in industrial construction environments such as concrete, coatings, fabrication, piping, welding, steel, or mechanical work.
  • Background in the military is valued as it often reflects strong discipline and teamwork.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Interest in building a long-term career path into Project Management and Estimating.
Work Environment

This role supports industrial construction projects involving concrete, coatings, fabrication, piping, welding, steel, and mechanical work. Employees split their time between job sites, customer locations, and office-based activities, with regular hands-on interaction with field crews and customers. Work is primarily within a three-hour radius of Memphis, with occasional overnight stays; travel expenses, hotels, and related project costs are covered when applicable. The environment is outdoors and industrial, requiring comfort with active construction sites and physical work. The team operates in a stable, growing organization that offers extensive hands‑on training from experienced industry leaders, a clear career path into Project Management and Estimating, opportunities to learn multiple construction trades, 100% employer‑paid health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, consistent raises for strong performers, and a leadership culture that promotes from within and invests in employee development.
