Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Assistant Project Engineer for our Orlando, FL office.

You will gather and present field and lab data, perform geotechnical analyses with SEEP/W, SLOPE/W, and GMS-MODFLOW, and draft reports for review by senior engineers. The role involves coordinating with field and laboratory staff, supporting subsurface exploration programs, and contributing to construction drawings and specifications; a strong emphasis on growth in a team-oriented

Qualifications

• Technical excellence with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or in progress to completion within a year).

ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER

Entry level full-time position working in our Orlando, FL office on a wide range of geotechnical engineering activities. Summarize, evaluate, and present field and laboratory data using computer worksheet programs including Microsoft Excel and Sigma Plot. Perform geotechnical analyses using computer software including SEEP/W for seepage analyses, SLOPE/W for slope stability analyses, and GMS-MODFLOW for groundwater flow simulations. Draft engineering reports for senior engineers. Research and review information and data for engineering projects. Develop and review construction drawings and technical specifications for engineering projects. Coordinate with field personnel to perform subsurface exploration program and field tests. Coordinate with laboratory personnel to perform laboratory testing on soil, geosynthetic, and water samples. Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be technically superior and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Master’s degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from a ABET accredited program with degree to be completed in less in a year.
