Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 5 years engineering experience.
• 1 year project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct segments of engineering projects with diversified technical requirements.
• Define project scope, develop statements of work, task descriptions, product plans, budgets, and manpower needs.
• Assign tasks to personnel and suppliers and provide project direction to meet schedules.
• Provide project management between engineering and related functions including program management, other departments, suppliers, consultants, and customers.
• Anticipate problems and recommend actions to prevent issues (technical, budget, schedule).
• Report to management on key project accomplishments, status, issues and budget.
• Approve project related engineering data to ensure compliance with policies and FAA/military requirements.
• Lead engineering project teams and stay current with technical developments.
• Work to improve daily processes and ensure work meets customer requirements.
