Metro Associates in San Diego, CA is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer to support multidisciplinary civil engineering and land development projects. The role combines design leadership, project coordination, staff mentorship, and client/public-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities include supervising design and support staff, managing schedules and budgets, preparing design studies, developing tract maps and site plans, and performing constructability reviews with construction support.

Formación

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• California P.E. registration required.
• At least 5 years land development experience (or 10 total years).
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and California Professional Civil Engineer registration.
• At least five years of land development experience, or equivalent total work experience of ten years.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience required.
• Strong independent judgment, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. California jurisdictional knowledge is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

$108,000.00–$130,000.00 per year.
