Iron Brothers Construction is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Developer to support our sales, design, and project development team on remodeling projects. This role assists with client communication, proposal preparation, scheduling, material research, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Sales: Attend consultations, take notes, follow up, and support client meetings and photography of spaces.
  • Proposal preparation: Assist with materials sourcing, documentation for scope, changes, and vendor communication.
  • Design and material selection: Assist with plan approvals, coordinate appointments, and track scheduling and changes.
  • Production coordination: Order materials, schedule deliveries, track inventory, and support calendar planning.
  • PR/Marketing: Attend events and shows, support booths and home tour participation.
  • Administrative: Daily office tasks, scheduling, and policy/document review.

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Project Developer who can support our sales, design, and project development team throughout the remodeling process. This role assists with client communication, proposal preparation, scheduling, material research, and project coordination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sales: Attend consultation appointments, take notes, provide excellent customer service. Provide follow up on all sales consultations, attend client meetings, photograph the space, and provide information from designers and architects.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist with proposal preparation, provide required information to vendors for materials, research materials for projects, and prepare all documentation for trade walks. Provide all documentation and communication around scope of work and change orders.
  • Design and Material Selection: Work directly with clients on plan approvals, assist the PM of the design, coordinate design appointments and scheduling, review material selection, and communicate with the client and team around scheduling, changes, and installation.
  • Production Coordination/Materials and Support: Order materials and supplies, schedule deliveries, maintain sales notebooks, assist with re-orders and troubleshooting, assist in project calendar preparation, communicate delivery to the IBC team.
  • PR/Marketing: Attend business networking events, vending and running a Show Booth, and assist with events such as Home Tour, Home Show, Remodel Expo.
  • Administrative: Daily office functions including email, phone, scanning, fax, and clerical tasks. Create and review policies and procedures, appointment scheduling and calendar updates.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Associate degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong administrative and operational background.
  • Preferred experience with administration in residential remodeling.
  • Ability to understand drawings and blueprints, and decipher product and appliance specs.
  • Valid WA state Driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to climb three flights of stairs.
  • Access to a clean, functional, and dependable vehicle.
  • Competent using computer, cell phone camera, and construction equipment (tape measure, level, etc.).
  • Competent with MS Windows, Web Browsers, and Outlook with attachments.
  • Ability to work indoor and outdoor, with a variety of people and materials.
  • Ability to work up to 50 hours a week, within business hours: M-F, 7am to 6pm. Hours may vary based on project volume.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, working independently and within a team.
  • Reliable and honest.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and customer service skills.
