Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County seeks an Assistant Program Supervisor to help coordinate Adult Day Services and support staff delivering meaningful experiences for participants. This role blends hands-on coordination, staff guidance, and focus on individual progress to build practical skills and community connections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a direct support, vocational, or adult day program setting.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with no more than five (5) motor vehicle points.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings and maintain compliance with agency drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program schedules and activities to support effective service delivery.
• Uphold standards for participant care and overall program performance with leadership.
• Organize staffing requirements, coordinate workflow, and ensure guidance for employees.
• Supervise staff and contribute to program coordination and operations.
• Track participant progress toward individualized goals involving independence and daily living skills.
