Job summary

Bennett Aerospace, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support contract operations and provide full managerial coverage during the absence of the Program Manager.

The Assistant will be empowered to act with full authority on behalf of the Contractor regarding daily contract operations. The position requires DoD or Federal government familiarity, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with Government officials to ensure continuity of operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a Government manpower contract.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a technical manpower contract (Public Health preferred).
• Experience in DoD or Federal Government settings is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing staff performance, training, scheduling, and compliance with all contract requirements.
• Maintain communication with Government officials, ensuring continuity of operations during periods of primary manager absence.

• Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and required deliverables for Government review.
• Ensure contract tasks are completed in accordance with the SOW and established quality standards.
• Contribute to the development of operational plans, risk mitigation activities, and workflow improvements.

• Successful completion of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening, and Credit Check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet Government suitability requirements.

This position is located in Aberdeen, MD. The salary range for this position is $ 72,000 - $84,000.
