Job summary

Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is seeking a dedicated program aide to assist the Program Manager in supervising staff and coordinating daily operations of a Massachusetts residential program in Winchendon. The role supports implementing treatment plans, maintaining records, and ensuring shifts run smoothly.

You will participate in staff training, oversee client funds and medications per MAP, and help maintain a safe, compliant living environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in human services a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and oversee daily programmatic functions and residence upkeep.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept per funding source rules and CRJ procedures.
  • Develop and implement behavior plans and ISP objectives for residents.
  • Train new employees and supervise client funds and finances.
  • Dispense medications per MAP requirements and ensure coverage.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive and professional residential environment.
  • Attend meetings and participate in incident debriefs as needed.
  • Handle physical constraints as necessary and monitor resident welfare.

Job description

Assists the Program Manager in areas related to supervision and general operation of the residential program. Provides direct care supervision to individuals and ensures shifts run smoothly and efficiently.

Schedule: First Shift | 40 hours per week

Assist the Program Manager in performing the following duties:

  • Coordinates and supervises daily programmatic functions including supervision/oversight of staff, upkeep of the residence and implementation of all aspects of individual treatment plans.
  • Ensures that complete and appropriate individual records are maintained in accordance with funding source regulations and Community Strategies policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of behavior plans, ISP objectives and all other aspects of residential programming.
  • Participate in the training of all new employees.
  • Manages program funds and supervises personal finances for all clients.
  • Dispenses medications per MAP requirements as needed.
  • Engages in the upkeep of the residence.
  • Ensures adequate program coverage and supervision.
  • Ensure that duties and responsibilities are carried out in a supportive and professional manner.
  • Attend appropriate meetings as directed.
  • Conduct physical restraints as needed.
  • Extended standing, sitting and lifting as needed.

Required Education and Experience:
