A leading organization is seeking an Assistant Program Director to manage services at a supportive housing site. Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
Position Type:
This is a full-time, exempt position with a regular daytime schedule that may include an evening shift and rotating on-call responsibilities with the Program Director. Lantern staff may be asked to change work schedule and hours depending on the operational needs of the site and the agency.
In the absence of the Program Director, this position may require availability outside of the standard workday, and must be ready and available to direct and support staff either by phone or in person during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Objective:
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Assistant Program Director (APD) to partner with the Program Director in managing the program. The APD should have experience in mental health service delivery, working with formerly homeless individuals, or clients impacted by chronic medical conditions, substance use, and criminal justice involvement. The candidate must have strong supervisory and administrative skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to ensure quality services and program operations. Attention to detail, understanding of service delivery concepts, mastery in navigating mental health systems, and the ability to access comprehensive services for recipients are essential.
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for supervising the case management team and ensuring clients receive services that meet regulatory and agency standards through supervision, reporting, and chart reviews. They will help develop a high-functioning team in an engaging environment that promotes continuous learning, professional development, and quality improvement. The APD is also expected to lead efforts in fostering a culture of equity, belonging, and justice, integrating these values into the program culture with respect for all members.
