About this Opportunity

The Assistant Program Director of ABA /Autism and Accreditation plays a vital role in supporting both graduate and undergraduate Applied Behavior Analysis ( ABA ) and Autism programs. In this collaborative position, the Assistant Program Director will ensure that all programs meet the highest academic and professional standards. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to program development and fostering an environment of excellence in education. Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Special Education, the Assistant Program Director will help enhance the quality of education and student outcomes in this important field. This position requires a weekly on-campus presence (and is not a remote/off-campus position), with an option of one weekly remote day.

The ABA and Autism Assistant Program Director will support the graduate and undergraduate applied behavior analysis (Autism Programs), and co-manage accreditation compliance in collaboration with the ABA /Autism program Director. The position reports to the Chair of the Department of Special Education.

  • M.A. degree from an accredited institution in ABA , Education, Special Education, Administration, Business, or a related field
  • Candidates with a M. A. degree must have at least 5 years administrative/leadership experience.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. degree must have at least 3 years administrative/leadership experience.
Minimum Other

Authorization to work in the US

Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Collaborate, organize and Co-Chair the ABA /Autism Core Host meeting. Attend the Director’s meetings.

  • Co-Chair the ABA /Autism Core and host biweekly core meetings, lead discussions on recruitment, retention efforts, advising, student engagement, curriculum changes, and program-related issues.
