Assistant Professors in Ecology - Tenure Track Faculty

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 a year

The Department of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Chicago is searching for full-time tenure-track faculty members working in ecology, to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The University is an exciting center of scientific discovery and innovation, and opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration and participation as graduate student trainers abound. Most university divisions and centers are contained within one compact campus in Chicago's vibrant Hyde Park neighborhood, where many faculty members and students live.

Competitive research space and start-up funding will be available, and new faculty will work with outstanding colleagues and graduate students in a variety of programs at the University and at our National Lab affiliates, Argonne National Laboratory and Fermilab.The Department manages the greenhouse facilities on campus, and the Warren Woods Ecological Field Station in Three Oaks, Michigan.

Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits eligible.
