assistant professor position in Remote Sensing Systems. Theposition is defined
broadly in remote sensing systems and technologies across theentire electromagnetic spectrum. We seek candidates working acrossdisciplines with specific areas of interest
that include but are not limited to: microwave and optical, activeand passive
instruments or systems and their application to the remote sensingof land, water, or the atmosphere. Payloads and instrument conceptsfor small satellites or other resource-constrained platformsas UAVs are of particular interest. We are committed to expandingthe scope of our department beyond our traditional strengths.Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closelyrelated field or anticipate such a degree by September 1,2027.
