The University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Dermatology in Minneapolis seeks outstanding applicants for a faculty position focused on computer science and dermatology. Candidates with a research focus in inflammation, inflammatory dermatoses, immuno-oncology, immune checkpoint biology and novel therapeutics development are encouraged to apply.
Candidates are expected to have postdoctoral training, a track record of scholarship, and a history of successful grant funding. Successful candidates should have and/or obtain an independent, externally funded, and sustainable scholarly research program. Evidence of conducting rigorous and innovative research and a track record of publications is required. The candidate will participate in Department of Dermatology faculty and research activities, teach medical students, residents, graduate students, and post-docs.
80-100% effort will be spent in research—overseeing project development, securing funding, and publishing. The campus offers state-of-the-art core facilities, including the Genomics Center and Imaging Center, with advanced spatial proteogenomics technology from Ionpath, 10X Genomics, and Nanostring.
