Job description

Responsibilities
  • Active clinical practice in the surgical treatment of diseases related to the services of this division.
  • Participate as a member of the Breast Surgical Oncology Service in the Department of Surgery.
  • Faculty appointment with the School of Medicine in Surgery with an emphasis in Breast Surgery.
  • Teach medical students and residents in the classroom, clinic, and operating room.
  • Participate in surgery-related research, clinical trials, and clinical studies.
  • Publish and present data at the regional and national levels.
  • Serve on hospital, university, and departmental committees as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Board eligible or board certified in Surgery.
  • Completion of a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship.
  • Preferred: One year experience in an academic setting and research.
