Description: The Department of Decision and Information Sciences (DISC) in C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Supply Chain Management (SCM) starting in Fall 2025. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in SCM principles, demonstrate teaching and research excellence, and align with our department’s values and vision. Priority will be given to candidates, who meet our teaching and research needs in traditional SCM topics such as inventory management, logistics, demand forecasting, supply chain network design, supply chain digitization, supply chain strategy and globalization. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in SCM or a closely related discipline. A hired applicant will have the potential to (a) publish in top-tier and highly respected journals, (b) contribute to the mentoring and development of doctoral students, and (c) teach graduate and undergraduate courses.
