Marist University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of School Psychology in the Psychology Department, School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, to begin fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach in our NASP-approved MA School Psychology program and in our undergraduate program.

Graduate courses are held in the evenings, with emphasis on academic and behavioral assessment and a commitment to high-quality teaching in small classes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology or related field by Fall 2027.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses with instructional technology.
• Engaged in ongoing research for tenure; mentor student research.
• Advise undergraduate students and participate in department activities.
• Preferred: university-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruction of graduate and undergraduate students with competence in instructional technology.
• Ongoing research and scholarly activities for tenure requirements.
• Mentorship of student research.
• Advisement of undergraduate students.
• Participation in departmental/school/university activities.
