You will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, supervise learners, and contribute to education, research, and service initiatives, advancing patient care and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology and Virginia licensure or eligibility.
• Postdoctoral training in rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology, or health psychology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and foster a respectful, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical psychological assessments for adults with brain injuries, stroke, movement disorders, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions.
• Provide evidence-based interventions, psychoeducation, and pain management strategies for patients and families.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and referents, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Provide didactic teaching and supervision for fellows, residents, and students.
• Engage in research activities aligned with clinical care and departmental priorities.
• Serve on committees and participate in advocacy and professional activities.
