Job summary

Pacific University’s School of Graduate Psychology (PsyD program) on the Hillsboro Campus, OR, seeks an Assistant Professor for Fall 2026. This 11-month, extended-term or tenure-track role focuses on teaching, scholarship, and service in a APA-accredited PsyD program.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology (APA or APS accredited preferred).
• Be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Oregon.
• Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: develop syllabi, deliver lectures, lead class discussions, and run labs.
• Advising: guide students through course selection, degree progress, and career planning.
• Research: conduct original studies, write grant proposals, publish, and present at conferences.
• Service: participate in committees, support policy development, and engage in recruitment and program development.
