Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia invites applications from board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrists to join a growing Academic Psychiatry Department featuring a newly ACGME‑accredited residency program.

Duties include outpatient, inpatient and consult psychiatry. Faculty psychiatrists will teach and supervise medical students and residents, with opportunities for scholarship and research encouraged. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
Must qualify for medical licensure in West Virginia.
Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
Must have completed a residency in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

Duties may include outpatient, inpatient and consult psychiatry.
Teaching and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents.
