The Department of Computer Science at Tulane University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position beginning in Fall 2025. We encourage applications from members of underrepresented groups. Our department currently has 13 tenure-track/tenured faculty and 4 Professors of Practice, with plans to expand. We focus on both computer science and interdisciplinary applications, collaborating across various schools within Tulane.
The department seeks to expand expertise in computer systems and programming languages. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, operating systems, distributed systems, programming languages and compilers, blockchain, database, and software engineering. Candidates from other areas with strong potential for high-quality research and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels are also welcome.
