Job summary

• Participate in curriculum and/or program development as assigned.
• Be accessible to students with regular office hours for advising and consultation.
• Conduct scholarship/research activities.
• Serve on college and university committees.
• Contribute to campus life and university functions (athletics, orientations, receptions, commencements).
• Attend meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Essential Job Functions

• Teaches eight (8) courses or activity equivalents in general Physics, and other upper-level physics courses per year in various formats as necessary (on-campus days, on-campus evenings, off-campus, online, etc.).
• Participates in curriculum and/or program development, as assigned.
• Be accessible to students, according to College guidelines; maintains regular office hours for student advising and consultation.
• Conducts scholarship/research activities.
• Serves and contributes to appropriate college and university committees.
