The USC Marshall School of Business is seeking a dedicated faculty member for the Physician Assistant Program. This role emphasizes student instruction and program advocacy at a state and national level.
You will develop and assess course objectives, mentor fellow faculty, and engage in various academic and administrative activities.
The position offers opportunities for maintaining clinical practice and participating in important program events.
The faculty member will provide student instruction in the areas of education and experience for the Physician Assistant Program. Faculty members act as an advocate for the program and represent the program at state, national, and regional meetings. All individuals that are clinical faculty members have the option to maintain clinical practice one day a week.
Provides student instruction in the areas of education and experience. The position requires the individual to possess the knowledge and clinical skills needed to conduct the curriculum of the PA program. This includes but is not limited to: Design curriculum, Coordinate curriculum, Evaluate curriculum, Course instruction, Evaluate student performance, Student advising, Identify students who are not achieving course and program objectives, Assist with reviewing and developing the program mission statement annually, Ensure the availability of remedial instruction, Maintain knowledge and skills associated with current practice standards.
The faculty member reports to the Program Director of the Marshall University Physician Assistant Program.
