The Division of Dentistry at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor to join us as a Pediatric Dental Specialist. You will work in a pediatric comprehensive treatment facility that cares for patients with complex medical conditions, using mild/moderate sedation when needed, in the ambulatory clinic, UVA hospital OR, and emergency department.

This is a tenure-ineligible Clinical Faculty position.

• Supervise and mentor four GPR residents in the ambulatory pediatric dentistry clinic and OR setting.
• Share on-call responsibilities fairly across the team.

The Division of Dentistry at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine is searching for an Assistant Professor to join us as a Pediatric Dental Specialist. You will be working in a pediatric comprehensive treatment facility that cares for patients with complex medical conditions. Care for these patients will occur in our ambulatory clinic, utilizing mild and moderate sedation when necessary, as well as in the UVA hospital operating room and emergency department. This is a tenure-ineligible position on the Clinical Faculty track.

Faculty duties include supervising and mentoring four GPR residents in both the ambulatory pediatric dentistry clinic and OR setting. On-call responsibilities are shared fairly across the team.

The mission of UVA Pediatric Dentistry is to provide quality, specialized care to pediatric patients with medical and behavior complexities and to support the hospital in caring for patients with dental trauma and acute infection
