Job summary

Medhavi Skills University invites applications for a Pathology/Medical Laboratory Education role, focusing on academic delivery, laboratory skill training, student mentoring, and research activities in Pathology and Medical Laboratory Science programs.

The incumbent will coordinate laboratory sessions, internships, and on-the-job training while ensuring compliance with biosafety and quality standards. Leadership in industry integration is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Pathology or Medical Laboratory Science and a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Certifications in Laboratory Quality Management Systems and Diagnostic Laboratory Practices are required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching and/or diagnostic laboratory experience in a recognized hospital, diagnostic centre, medical college, or academic institution.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory, practical, and skill-based sessions in Pathology.
• Coordinate laboratory sessions, clinical postings, internships, and OJT/OJL activities.
• Mentor students and provide academic counselling and career guidance.
• Prepare question papers, assessments, practical examinations, and evaluation reports.
• Participate in research, publications, consultancy, and curriculum development activities.
• Support accreditation processes, BOS activities, admissions, and institutional events.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards, biosafety protocols, and good laboratory practices.
• Facilitate industry collaborations and skill-development initiatives.

• Certifications in Laboratory Quality Management Systems and Diagnostic Laboratory Practices.
• Training in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Molecular Diagnostics, or Advanced Laboratory Techniques.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching and/or diagnostic laboratory experience in a recognized hospital, diagnostic centre, medical college, or academic institution.
