• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and defects of the oral and maxillofacial region.
• Perform surgical procedures including: Tooth extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth), Reconstructive jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), Facial trauma repair, Cleft lip and palate correction, Removal of tumors and cysts, Administer anesthesia and manage pain before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with orthodontists, prosthodontists, and oncologists for integrated treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
• Maintain detailed patient records and stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies.
