Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) offers one of the most forward looking educational environments in dental medicine in the country. Clinics at TUSDM provide quality, comprehensive care to more than 20,000 individuals annually. Nationally and internationally, TUSDM promotes health and educational programs and conducts research on new procedures, materials, and technologies to improve oral health.
The Program Director oversees all aspects of the Advanced education Program in Endodontics including the recruitment and admission of highly qualified applicants; the didactic, clinical and research progress of the residents; the development and maintenance of the program-specific curriculum; and the adherence to CODA accreditation standards.
In addition, in concert with the Department Chair they will assist in the recruitment and calibration of full- and part-time faculty. This faculty position has an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the individual. The primary responsibility of this position would be to serve as a Graduate Program Director for the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics at the School of Dental Medicine Other responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction of dental students and residents, scholarly activities, and community service. The applicant must be eligible for a Massachusetts dental license.
