The Department of Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking applications for a clinical faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above. We are looking for an academic abdominal organ transplant surgeon for the Liver/Intestine and/or Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Programs. Candidates should have research interests in areas such as organ preservation, immunology, outcomes, surgical oncology, xenotransplantation, robotic surgery, and normothermic regional perfusion. Applicants must be board eligible or certified and eligible for medical licensure in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited transplant surgical fellowship in both liver and kidney transplantation, with experience in pediatric liver, intestinal, and multivisceral transplantation.
Additional responsibilities include participation in the academic and research missions of the University and Department of Surgery.
